1. General Eligibility
Projects must meet these criteria to qualify:
- Non-excludable, non-rivalrous: Open access and shared benefits.
- Integrity matters: Evidence of unethical behavior (e.g., misuse of funds, fraud, bullying) disqualifies you.
- Not a charity: We prioritize scalable, long-term solutions over direct aid.
- No financial products: Lending, investing, or trading services are not eligible.
2. Categories of Projects
We want bold ideas across these categories:
- Infrastructure: Tools like oracles and dMRV that accelerate climate action or remove GHGs.
- Nature/Ocean Solutions: Projects restoring and protecting ecosystems or promoting marine conservation.
- Climate Adaptation/Resilience: Helping communities and ecosystems adapt to climate change.
- Renewable Energy: Driving clean energy innovations.
3. Early-Stage Focus
- Projects must be at least 1 year old. We’ll verify using Twitter, domain registration, and public records.
- We prioritize early-stage projects with limited prior funding but big potential for ecosystem impact.
4. Metrics and Reporting
Applicants commit to measurable progress:
- Web3 projects must use KarmaGAP to outline milestones and track results. Web2 projects will be onboarded.
- Regular updates showing milestone progress are required.
Projects need to:
